Warranty Policy We warrant that Eye-D Cam products are free from manufactured defects in material and workmanship and that products designed by us will perform in the purpose intended by us when properly installed and used. We will repair or replace Eye-D Cam products, at our discretion, that prove defective in materials or workmanship, without charge, for a period of fourteen (14) months after the date of first shipment, provided that written notice has been given us within thirty (30) days after first discovery of any defects. Products that are not Eye-D Cam products, and that are purchased from AVI, will have the original manufacturer�s warranty, for a period of one year from date of purchase. Any recorders sold by AVI will have a six-month warranty on the recording heads. Other recorder parts will have the full one-year warranty. If a warranty repair is required, the purchaser must contact AVI at (877) 695-6956 or (713) 695-4545 to obtain a Repair Authorization number (RA), and provide the following information: 1. Model number. 2. Serial Number or X-number (depending on model.) 3. Date of shipment, Purchase order number, or our invoice number. 4. Details of the defect or problem. Goods returned without our authorization will not be accepted. If an advanced replacement is required the advanced replacement will be invoiced to the customer for payment. Credit will be issued upon the receipt of the replaced item. Advanced replacement will only be offered on Eye-D Cam products. Advance replacement will only be offered upon the receipt of a signed - faxed or mailed request. The extent of our liability for breach of such warranty, when such is shown to our satisfaction, and the product has become impaired for the use for which it was intended by us, shall be limited to the replacement or repair of such product or part thereof, F. O. B., Access & Video Integration Corporation, 5226 E 50 N, Lafayette, IN 47905, USA. AVI assumes no risk and shall be subject to no liability for damages or loss resulting from the specific use or application made of the products. AVI is not an insurer. Insurance for any loss is to be provided, by the purchaser, under a separate contract via a licensed insurance vendor. AVI�s liability for any claim, whether based on breach of contract, negligence, infringement of any rights of any party or product liability, relating to the products shall not exceed the price paid by the Purchaser to AVI for such products. In no event will AVI be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of use, loss of profit, and claims of third parties) however caused, whether by the negligence of AVI or otherwise. Our responsibility is for the operation of EYE-D Cam products and products directly purchased from AVI. The warranty will not extend to products added by the customer or his/her representatives. THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF FITNESS AND MERCHANTABILITY
